This pathway is aimed at students that prefer to learn in a more vocational/applied way. BTEC courses are designed to have a smaller proportion of examinations and have a greater focus on portfolio/coursework. You are also able to combine these courses with AS courses in any combination up to a maximum of three. Students following this pathway will be aiming to continue their education/training on level 4 courses provided by Colleges and Universities.

Pathway 3 in Year 12: Combination of 3 AS or Btec Courses
Pathway 3 in Year 13: 3 or 4 A2 Courses
