Why choose A-Level Product Design?

Learning styles: Practical skill sessions, visuals, DVD films, demonstrations, independent work.

Compatibility with Maths, Physics & Art.

Careers: Product Designer, furniture designer, automotive design, Industrial Design and Architecture.

Skills: Sketching, modelling, making final product from wood, metal, plastic and other modern and smart materials

Course Outline

Exam board: AQA - 2 units per year (Each unit is worth 25%)

Assessment Format: 1 Exam (50%), 1 piece of coursework (50%).

Resources and facilities

A-level textbooks, library books & DVDs. A dedicated workshop with all the machines and materials required, including CAD CAM facilities, the new AutoCAD 2008 drawing and modeling package and experienced staff with industrial experience.
